Everyone responds differently depending on the types of medication and some medications induce greater amounts of weight loss than others over periods of time. With that being said, we have seen an average weight loss of 10-15% of baseline weight over a period of 3-24 weeks – depending on drug and adherence to diet and exercise guidance.

We do not directly bill insurance companies. Our products are largely uncovered by commercial insurance companies because of criteria needed to qualify for these medications (you need to have diabetes). In some cases, our bloodwork may reveal information that allows the patient’s insurance company to cover the drug. In these cases, we bill $150/month for our services and work to get prior authorization and prescribe the medications to a retail pharmacy.
We do not directly bill FSA/HSA accounts, but our patients successfully receive reimbursement from FSA/HSA for our medical services and costs of prescribed medications.
We currently accept Zelle and Venmo for payment.
Not at the moment. Omni Health NP is a virtual (telemedicine) weight loss, diabetes prevention, and hormonal therapy management practice. This may change to include a hybrid model in the future for the NYC and Westchester NY areas.

GlP1-RAs are designed to be used long term i.e. >1 yr. It takes about 2 months to begin to see the desired impact of the medication on your weight and most GLP1-RA trials have tested efficacy and safety over a period of 1-4 years. How long you will continue to take this medication will be individualized and based on how well you respond to and tolerate the medication, as well as your long-term goals.
Many people respond quickly to GLP1-RAs, i.e. > 5% reduction of baseline bodyweight within 3 months, with continued weight loss expected until weight plateaus. Once the weight is off, it is important to continue therapy because weight regain is likely. It’s best to approach weight loss with GLP1-RAs as a lifestyle that includes consuming whole foods, meal portion control, choosing nutritionally dense foods, getting plenty of sleep, and exercise which are all components of a well-designed wellness plan.
